Instagram account @karagodin before it was blocked<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

My Instagram account<\/a> (@karagodin<\/a>) was unexpectedly blocked<\/strong> by the platform despite no violations of community guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have maintained this account since the early years of Instagram and have never violated any rules. After the account was blocked, I contacted support and even provided a verification photo holding a code, as requested. The response I received stated that the account had been \u201cblocked for violating community guidelines\u201d,<\/em> although I have not violated any such rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

I then created a new account, which was also blocked shortly afterward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How can I restore my Instagram account?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would greatly appreciate any assistance<\/a> in restoring my original username and account \u2013 @karagodin<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will not be publishing content on this account, as I do not consider it acceptable for my work to be subject to potential removal at any moment. This account will be used solely for reading and maintaining a formal presence on the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ultimately, on April 6, 2026, I was informed through an institutional communication channel with Meta that I am now permitted to register a new account under the username @karagodin; however, the original account cannot be restored, as it has been permanently deleted. At the same time, attempts to claim @karagodin continue to fail, as the username remains unavailable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This situation is regrettable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resolution<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I successfully reclaimed the username @karagodin<\/a><\/strong> on April 10, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special thanks to politician Ekaterina Shulman<\/em> \u2014 she helped resolve the situation through negotiations with Meta. My account is mine again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The old photos are no longer there, as the account was restored from a deleted state, but that\u2019s not a problem. I will create a new stream of images and presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
