In 2023, the website of the independent research project KARAGODIN® Investigation (KARAGODIN.ORG), created and maintained by Denis Karagodin, was included in the digital catalog of the Library of Congress (United States) as a historically significant born-digital resource.

The project was cataloged as an electronic database containing texts and images related to independent historical research and public documentation. The independent research project KARAGODIN® Investigation (KARAGODIN.ORG), created and conducted by Denis Karagodin, was accepted into Project Galileo, a cybersecurity protection program operated by the American technology company Cloudflare.

Project Galileo provides free cybersecurity protection to organizations working in the fields of human rights, civil society, journalism, and public-interest research that may be exposed to digital threats or cyberattacks.

Within this program, Cloudflare offers advanced protection against DDoS attacks and other forms of malicious traffic, helping ensure that vulnerable public-interest projects remain accessible online.

The inclusion of KARAGODIN® Investigation in Project Galileo recognized the public significance of the project and its potential exposure to digital risks due to its investigation of Soviet political repression and the archival documentation of historical crimes.

Through this program, the website KARAGODIN.ORG receives infrastructure-level cybersecurity protection designed to maintain the availability and integrity of the research archive.
